Where the Artsy Folk Live: Mario Testino in Vogue

Photographer Mario Testino’s art collection is to die for.. his home looks like the coolest gallery ever.  The work is beautifully displayed and the furnishings compliment rather than compete.   A feast for the eyes.

I remember reading this article about two weeks ago and remember thinking what am amying house this is. It isnt pretentious and I got the feeling that a real person lives here and is not one of these perfectly decorated homes that I would never envision someone actually living in. The fashion does compliment the artwork throughout the house.

I completely agree, Jennifer! I’m loving the trend away from “designer-y”, matchy-matchy homes and the move more toward eclecticism and global influences. These homes always feel more warm & genuine to me, and like interesting people actually live there! 😉

      Thanks for stopping by!
